A 12-foot great blue heron rendered in patinaed steel and cobalt glass, watching the boat basin.
The glass panels along Tidewatcher's back are hand-cut from recycled bottles donated by neighborhood restaurants. At sunset the light passes through and casts a blue ripple across the pier — locals call it "the heron's shadow."

Lina Park is a Korean-American sculptor working primarily in welded steel and stained glass. She splits her time between Sarasota and a small studio off 49th Street.
