A 40-foot mural celebrating the dolphins, herons and tarpon that share our shoreline.
Painted during the 2022 Gulfport SHINE festival weekend, this wall took Mia just over four days to complete with help from two assistants and roughly 60 cans of exterior latex. The color palette intentionally echoes the sunset hues used on storefront awnings up and down Beach Boulevard.

About the artist
Mia Castellanos is a St. Petersburg-based muralist whose work pulls from Gulf Coast wildlife and Florida's mid-century color stories. She has painted commissions across Tampa Bay since 2017.
